Simplify|Edit allows you to suck in any website you find on the web as long as you adhere to copyright laws. You may find a website that you like while surfing the net and simplify|Edit will allow you to suck it in, change its content and design and make it your own personalized online portal.

Can anyone change any website?
No, and while simplify|Edit™ allows you to play with sites and manipulate content in the editor, you can only publish a website if you have both the legal right to do so, and access to the server where the domain / website is hosted. Please remember that simplify|Edit™ is designed to help website owners manage their own sites.

What are the system requirements to use simplify|Edit™?
Since simplify|Edit™ is hosted on our servers, there is nothing to install and no server/platform requirements to worry about. All you need is a modern web browser with JavaScript turned on and no blocking of pop-ups (simplify|Edit™ officially supports IE 6 or later on the PC, Firefox on Mac, PC, Linux, and Safari on Mac) and an internet connection. simplify|Edit™ does not support IE 5.x on the Mac or PC . If you have IE 5, we recommend switching to Firefox: it is modern, fast, compatible, and free.

What is the technical background that I need to be able to use simplify|Edit?
To be able to take full control of what simplify|Edit offers you, you need basic computer skills like browsing the internet and using a word editor like Microsoft Word. Remember, simplify|Edit was designed to be used by non-technical computer literates.

Can I specify which people can work on specific parts of my website?
Yes. simplify|Edit™ features a robust permissions and access control system that allows you to set permissions down to an article on a page. For example, if you want Jill to contribute articles or edit text within the technology section of your website you can simply limit her permissions to those pages and sections, and review all of her changes before you actually publish them and make them live. We would hate to see you go, but if you are unhappy with the service or just don't feel that it does what you need it to do: no hard feelings you can cancel your account at any time. Can we run simplify|Edit on our own servers?
simplify|Edit™ is a web-based, hosted service, if you are looking to push the envelope with the system or want to leverage the system in-house please contact our enterprise team.

Do I have to host my website with simplify|Edit?
No you can host it anywhere, but you can always publish to MyKyube hosting folder, that you are offered for free per each simplify project.

What if simplify|Edit™ goes away?
Though we don't want to leave quite yet, simplify|Edit™ is completely independent from your website. You could leave in the morning and simply keep your site at your hosting provider and lose nothing but the unbelievably powerful editing features from simplify|Edit™. In fact, our servers could all go down and your website would still be running. Of course if you integrated some of our dynamic tools such as the "search" function, such components would stop functioning if you decided to leave.
